This is a new website for Mid Cornwall Turners.  Hopefully it will keep members up to date and informed of upcoming club events and give members the opportunity if they wish to show off their work.
I wish to make this site as informative and interactive as possible for all members. Please email me with any ideas, pictures, links etc. that you think other members would enjoy or benefit from.

On the Charity Contributions
Mid Cornwall Turners nominate at the AGM each year a charitable organization  which the club aims to raise funds for throughout the year. This years charity is the Cornwall Hospice
Many of our events include donations to our particular charity of the year.
Duchess of Cornwall
The club was asked by the Cornwall Air Ambulance charity to make something to present to the Duchess of Cornwall. This was presented on her birthday this year when the Duchess visited Cornwall.
The platter pictured below was turned by Everett Slade and the scroll saw logo insert was made by Keith Perry. St. Austell Trophies made the plaque on the bottom and the photos are courtesy of Cornwall Air Ambulance
rAdditional Resources
There is a very informative monthly Newsletter compiled by Julia Bartlett and issued to members on club meeting nights. In fact just about all of the info on the website has been plagiarized from Julia's Newsletters!
Exhibitions and Sales
The Club will organise (currently at Lobb’s Shop at Heligan  Gardens and Par Garden Centre) Exhibitions and Sales of work—at which members will be invited to enter their own turnings for show/or sale.  You will also be able to demonstrate.

Calendar Page for dates)
